All the events do not just magically happen. There are many people behind the scenes organizing each of them and more are needed. Please find some time to plug yourself in to help make our school the best it can be.
Joining the PTA gives you a vote in how we raise money as well as spending it. Everyone’s input is important as we develop the activities to benefit our kids. Click HERE to join the PTA. We meet at 4:00 at the school on the second Tuesday of each month during the school year, excluding January. Usually, your children are able to go to the library for a video. We will also have a Zoom meeting going if you would like to connect in that manner.
Art Moms. Each year, the students learn about several artists and their techniques by replicating one of their paintings. The curriculum and all supplies are furnished by the PTA. The students’ artwork will be on display at DaVinci night in the spring. Two people are needed per class to teach a one-hour class session on technique once a month. Walk-A-Thon. On Friday, September 24, we are having our first major FUNdraiser. There will also be other activities surrounding the event, like many “Minute to Win Its” and the kick-off to Kiss the Pig. Watch for a Signup Genius to help with all the FUN! More Info
Right now, we need your help to plan the games and piece together what is needed for the evening besides walking. There will be a meeting on Tuesday, August 31, at 10:00 am for anyone interested in planning. Please call or text Phyllis Tincher, 208-989-2811. We would love to have you be a part of this!
Walking Club. Each year the students are encouraged to walk laps around a track of cones during lunch recess. The laps are counted, and prizes are given at the year's end to those who completed the most laps. Now the school has a new track to use! What is needed are volunteers to help track the laps. If you would like to help every week from 11:45 to 1:00, please contact the school counselor, Carmel Major, at [email protected]
Spirit Wear. We have sold out of almost all of our Spirit Wear! We will be taking orders until September 17th. Please go Online HERE and order your Spirit Wear before then.
